Gli isolanti in vetro utilizzano una struttura di sinterizzazione del vetro con buone prestazioni di tenuta. Possono essere utilizzati con connettori a onde millimetriche come SMA e 2.92 e possono anche essere utilizzati direttamente tra schede PCB, modelli, modelli e componenti. Utilizza il vetro (la costante dielettrica è di circa 4,0) come materiale isolante e i conduttori interno ed esterno sono realizzati in materiale in lega Kovar. Dopo la sinterizzazione ad alta temperatura, la superficie è nichelata con oro. Gli isolanti in vetro presentano i vantaggi di dimensioni ridotte, leggerezza, ermeticità e alta affidabilità. Sono utilizzati principalmente in occasioni con requisiti di tenuta o requisiti di volume e peso del prodotto. Sono adatti per installazioni intensive. Il conduttore interno può essere collegato in vari modi, ad esempio plug-in, montaggio superficiale, saldatura e collegamento con filo d'oro.
